Morning Cup of... YOGA!
**Let me start by saying that I am no expert, I repeat, not an expert. But... I truly enjoy the practice of yoga, and believe that it is something that everyone, at any level, can benefit from. With that being said...
I am a busy gal. Aren't we all?! But really, it can be so difficult to squeeze in time at the gym, hiking, yoga, or whatever you do, after a long day of work. All that I really ever want to do is come home and just crash. And while I do pull myself together and make it to the gym some evenings (not as often as I'd like), I have discovered how amazing it can be to START my day with a quick workout, especially yoga. I also discovered Namaste Yoga. One of my girlfriends told me about Namaste Yoga, which is a filmed series of 22 minute yoga sessions. I did the first couple of seasons with her and fell in love.
I recently tried out the complete fourth season, and I surely was not dissapointed. Like the seasons before, you have a quick warm up, your session, and a calming cool-down. One of the neatest things about this series is that each practice is set in the most beautiful and calming scenery. The music and narration is so soft and peaceful, allowing you to focus and center yourself. The fourth season left me even more fulfilled with the variety in poses, and I felt like the flows were a bit more challenging. They push you to go just a little further than you may think you can, but not too far that you aren't able to keep up. And, you can modify each pose to fit your skill level. After the 22 minutes, I am balanced, and so completely energized. Just after 22 minutes! It's amazing. I am also very into my morning cup of coffee. Sometimes, I make my coffee and have a few sips before I do a session. After I am finished, I just pick my coffee right back up and sit in my comfy grey chair feeling completely satisfied. At that point, I am my happiest and calmest self, ready to take on the day.
You can either buy the DVD or download the digital content and stream it on any device. I love the digital version because I can do this even when I travel or when my husband and I go for our weekend hikes through the PNW! Truly one of the best parts about Namaste Yoga is that its convenient. Anytime of the day, any place you may be, it's there for you!
I think everyone single person, no matter what your daily schedule or current workout routine is like, could benefit from this. Because I believe it in so much, I will be hosting a GIVEAWAY to one of my fabulous followers! Follow me on Instagram for more information and to enter to win a free Namaste TV tank and the complete fourth season, DVD or digital!
